What is

The Law Society of England and Wales owns is a free service for anybody seeking information on organisations or individuals that provide legal services in England and Wales and are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
The SRA is the Law Society’s independent regulating body. It establishes and enforces the regulations that solicitors and other SRA-regulated entities must follow. It acts in the public interest by enforcing the Legal Services Act’s regulatory goals.
Lawyers-goal’s is to identify all SRA-registered legal firms, individuals, and organisations that employ regulated professionals. Additionally, it refers to non-solicitors who are accredited by the Law Society. For instance, the Family Mediation accreditation is available to certified mediators who are not subject to SRA regulation. They are, however, still required to meet all admission standards before being given accreditation by the Law Society. Family Mediation Referral Form – Albion Scotland Mediators does not include information on all attorneys in the United Kingdom. It does not, for example, include information on solicitors who opt not to be included and those solicitors who lack practise credentials.
