I am applying to Migrate to Australia however I now need proof that I actually got divorced. I have no paperwork relating to the Divorce as it was lost during a house move.I know what year I was divorced however no other details. Is there a Registry of some sort that I can apply to get a copy of this document?

Divorce records are held in the individual courts that they took place in. The General Records office and Family Records centre may have "national databases" of divorces but I wouldn't expect them to be 100% complete or up to the current years. They're probbly several years behind i.e. complete years until 2004.
